Louis-Dressing Molds


These individual molds accompany Crab Salad.

Makes 6 molds.

1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/4 cup cold water
1/2 cup hot water
2 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/2 cup cream for whipping
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese

Procedure:
1.Soften gelatin in cold water in small bowl; add hot water and sugar; stir until dissolved; add lemon juice.
2. Beat in mayonnaise or salad dressing and chili sauce until creamy-smooth;stir in cream and blue cheese.
3. Pour into six 4-ounce molds or custard cups; chill until firm; unmold and serve with Patio Crab Salad.
